Senior Automation QA

Our team is looking for an automated test specialist with more than 7 years of experience who can build and maintain an automated test project and architecture to deliver a high-quality product.

Job Details

You will be a key member of the R&D department, responsible for growing our product in the b2c business model on the US market and building a lead generation funnel using all possible tools and methods.

Job Responsibilities

– Own QA activities incl. manual, automated, performance testing
– Configuration or re-confirmation of test appliances and environments
– Research and evaluate various testing tools
– Work with colleagues in various areas in order to facilitate end-to-end testing
– Coordinate work with BA, Dev, Operational and cross-functional application teams to resolve data quality, integration and performance issues
– Participate in designing and implementing build and test infrastructure, creating and enforcing good engineering practices and evaluating product quality
– Develop and maintain the automation framework
– Web-based application testing (frontend and backend)
– Develop and maintain test documentation
– Analyze functional business requirements for completeness, participate in Application design with the development team
– Test design, providing estimates for automation activities, preparing reports
– Team training and knowledge sharing
– Assisting with manual testing if required

Job Requirements

– 7+ years experience in QA automation infrastructure development using JS/TypeScript
– Experience in developing automation infrastructure from scratch
– Experience in Playwright end-to-end testing tool
– Knowledge of continuous integration systems (for example, Jenkin, GitLab pipelines)
– Strong understanding of web UI and API testing
– Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
– Understanding the Test Automation Design patterns and frameworks
– Participate in code review sessions with developers and QA Engineers
– Strong Knowledge in GIT and version controls systems like (GitLab – GitHub)
– Experience working with .NET BackEnd automation tests (HttpClient, RestSharp etc.)
– Proven experience as a AQA role
– Strong technical lead not in the sense of test lead, but an AQA Engineer with a deep sense of ownership of test processes who is able to drive and perform detailed technical work

It will be a plus if you:
– Experience working with AWS cloud
– Networking knowledge
– Experience working with Docker
– Experience working with Kubernetes and testing flows for micro-services architecture
– Strong English verbal and written skills for daily communication (Upper-Intermediate)
– Excellent communication and mentoring skills
