DevSec engineer

Job brief:
We are looking for the Senior SecOps Security Engineer who will be responsible for improving operating security systems and analyzing security incidents. He or she will monitor company systems, detect security threats (‘events’), analyze and assess alarms, and report on threats, intrusion attempts and false alarms, either resolving them or escalating them, depending on the severity
Responsibilities:
Lead the Security Monitoring domain
Own core security detection and response systems, from planning through implementing
Monitor, investigate and handle security alerts and incidents
Proactively hunt for cyber threats
Manage a cybersecurity risk register
Keep up with emerging security trends, vulnerabilities, and recommendations
Communicate cybersecurity risks and solutions to various technical and non-technical audiences
Assist with internal and external InfoSec audits
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in monitoring and analyzing security attacks, intrusions, anomalies, and unauthorized or illegal activity (e.g., Security Analyst or a similar role)
1+ year of hands-on experience in DevOps / networking / system / infra
Deep understanding and passion for modern cybersecurity and its threats
Strong analytical skills in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
Securing cloud services, AWS, Azure, GCP experience – advantage
SOC experience – advantage
Threat hunting experience – advantage
At least upper intermediate level of English
