Business Analyst\Researcher in R&D department

Job brief:
We are looking for an open-minded proactive Business Analyst\Researcher to join our newly established R&D department, which will be responsible for innovating and patenting of new products, tools, processes, services or improvements to those that already exist.
The R&D cycle of a team will include such typical steps like:
Ideas and concepts – permanent research and analysis, that can come from a change of legislation, a technological breakthrough, or striving for efficiency or cost-saving.
Designs and modeling – the technical analysis, design, development activities that are needed to resolve the uncertainty, meet the challenge and prepare an MVP to test a hypothesis.
Testing and validating hypotheses on a market using a variety of tools and techniques.
Patenting of innovative solutions and ideas in The United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Responsibilities:
Gathering use cases and requirements from internal and external users and shareholders in support of initial concepts and projects
Permanent patent’s analysis using open sources and variety of research tools
Permanent competitors and market analysis
Full cycle of product development in agile team
Close cooperation with a lawyer in patenting and protection of rights to the invention
Requirements:
Open mind and ability to easily grasp new concepts and ideas
A wide erudition and knowledge of the U.S. micro-small business market
Experience with business apps popular for small business: QuickBooks, Ebay, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, Zoho CRM, Google Analytics, etc.
Previous experience as Business Analyst in US-oriented fintechs with full cycle of product development
English on sufficient speaking and writing level to communicate with customers, shareholders and team members
